Some patterns don’t start with you. You may notice an issue, a fear, or a block that doesn’t quite make sense:
* You feel frozen, numb, or stuck
* You react in ways that feel disproportionate or inexplicable
* You’ve done a lot of personal work, yet something deeper remains untouched
* It almost feels… inherited
Increasingly, research in epigenetics and trauma studies confirms what many wisdom traditions have known for a long time: Trauma, stress responses, and survival patterns can be transmitted across generations — and they can shape both psychological and physiological experience. Some of what we carry is not personal, but it still lives in our nervous system, our expectations, our bodies, and our relationships.
Why EFT for Ancestral & Generational Healing?
Clinical EFT is uniquely suited to work with:
* implicit and pre-verbal material
* nervous system imprints that don’t have a clear story
* emotional and somatic patterns that feel older than our own biography
EFT allows us to combine:
* evidence-based, research-supported methods
* nervous-system–informed, trauma-sensitive pacing
* and deep respect for the complexity of inherited survival strategies
This work is not about blaming the past. It is about freeing the present and the future.
What is this Training Is About?
This 2-day experiential and educational training will teach you how to:
* Recognize when an issue may have ancestral or generational roots
* Work safely and ethically with inherited trauma patterns
* Use EFT to access and gently transform subconscious and somatic imprints
* Support clients (and yourself) in releasing what does not belong to them
* Help create space for a consciously chosen legacy
This training is both:
* Deeply experiential (you will do your own inner work)
* And clinically applicable (you will learn how to bring this into sessions)
A Trauma-Informed & Culturally Conscious Container
This workshop holds a strong intention to create a safe, respectful, and ethically grounded healing space, especially in light of:
* the reality of collective and intergenerational trauma
* the ongoing impacts of systemic racism and historical violence
* and the fact that “ancestral healing” has sometimes been entangled with cultural appropriation and spiritual bypassing
In This Training, You Will Learn To:
* Understand the science of epigenetics, ancestral, and generational trauma
* Recognize signs that a pattern may be inherited rather than biographical
* Work skillfully with protective parts that resist change for good reasons
* Generate and work with a Genogram* Apply EFT protocols and approaches for ancestral healing
* Integrate inner child work and reparenting* Participate in and observe live demonstrations and guided group processes
This workshop is highly experiential, and you will also move through carefully structured group tapping and experiential processes designed to model how this work can be done safely and effectively.
